The procedure uses Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology to create accurate designs based on a digital impression of your teeth. Next, the impression is sent to a 3D printing unit that shapes a crown out of a ceramic block. 

The process is split into three simple steps:

• Dr. Peng will scan your mouth with a specialized intraoral scanner, allowing her to get an accurate representation of our oral structure.
• The scanned images are uploaded to a computer software that renders a 3D image of the scan, allowing Dr. Peng to design a replacement crown.
• Next, the specifications are fed into a milling/grinding machine that cuts a ceramic block to make your customized crown with 100% accuracy.
